Terms of Service
Welcome to the Sure Grip Arms payment and registration system. By registering for a course or submitting payment, you (the "Student" or "Trainee") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Our training programs are strictly designed to meet or exceed current California Department of Justice (DOJ) standards, including the mandates set forth by SB 2 and relevant sections of the California Penal Code.
Key Preliminary Agreements
- Compliance: You acknowledge that successful completion of the course requires meeting all attendance, safety, and performance standards as required by law and our certified instructors.
- Eligibility: By proceeding, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age and are not legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under Federal Law (18 U.S.C. 922(d)) or State Statutes.
- Payment & Refunds: Use of this system constitutes a binding agreement to our established cancellation and refund policies, which may include forfeiture of fees for late cancellations or failure to meet safety requirements.
- Final Sale: All sales are final after 30 calendar days from the date of initial registration.
Cancellation Policy
- 30-Day Window: : Cancellations made within 30 days of registration (and at least 72 hours before the course starts) are eligible for a partial refund. A 30% processing fee will be applied to recover administrative costs, seat reservations, and pre-ordered materials.
- Short-Notice: Cancellations requested within 72 hours of the scheduled training start time, or "No-Shows," are not eligible for any refund or credit, regardless of the 30-day window.
- Course Cancellation: If Sure Grip Arms must cancel a class due to instructor illness or facility issues, students will receive priority rescheduling at no additional cost.
Refund Policy
- Processing: Approved refunds may take up to 30 business days to process and appear in your account.
- Payment Method: All refunds will be issued exclusively to the original payment method used during registration.
- Deductions: Where applicable, the 30% processing fee outlined in the Cancellation Policy will be automatically deducted from the total refund amount.
Rescheduling Policy
Trainees may reschedule their training, subject to the following conditions:
- One-Time Option: Only one rescheduling request is permitted per registration.
- Time Limit: The new training date must be requested more than 72 hours before the scheduled start time, and the new date must fall within 60 days of the original registration date. Requests made outside this window may incur a $35 rescheduling fee or result in the forfeiture of the original course payment.
- Final Sale: Once a training session has been rescheduled, the transaction is deemed a final sale and is no longer eligible for cancellation or a refund.
- Availability: All rescheduling requests are strictly subject to course and class space availability.
Missed Training or "No-Show" Policy
- Seat Reservations: Because we strictly limit our class sizes to ensure personalized instruction, your registration reserves a seat that cannot be filled at the last minute.
- Forfeiture: "No-Shows" are entirely ineligible for any credits, refunds, or rescheduling options.
"Failure to Complete" Training Policy
- Performance Standards: An inability to meet course prerequisites or pass minimum performance standards will result in no credit, refunds, or rescheduling options being offered.
- Retaking the Course: In order to attempt the course again, the entire registration, payment, and attendance process must be started from the beginning.
Procedure for Canceling or Rescheduling:
