Without question, this has been the most informative, well-structured, and comprehensive CCW class I have attended to date. Theo is an exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated instructor."

"I attended the Sure Grip Arms Initial CCW 16-hour Certification course this weekend and was impressed with the organized curriculum, learning materials, and overall experience. The real-world scenarios, training videos, USCCA textbook, and in-class learning aids were all top-tier. The classroom and range facility were both comfortable and non-intimidating. I highly recommend Sure Grip Arms for anyone pursuing their initial CCW or renewal."

"In my 30 plus years of training and experience, I will say that Sure Grip Arms is one of the most well thought out and concise courses I have taken, including P.O.S.T. and F.L.E.T.C. courses. The instructor brings a myriad of knowledge and experience to the table and imparts the information in such a manner that it will be applicable to real world scenarios and events."

This extensive coverage ensures that you meet the exact legal mandates of your local Sheriff’s Department or City Police Department—without having to travel outside the area for certified training.
- Approved Counties: Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, Sutter, Yuba, Contra Costa, and Nevada.
- Approved Cities: Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Winters, and Woodland.
- Approved For: Federal LE, Military LE, and State, County & City LE (LEOSA/HR 218).
- In-Person Training: We host full-length, comprehensive courses that include classroom instruction and live-fire range qualification to satisfy all state and local mandates.
- Online Courses (Coming Soon): We are currently developing a hybrid learning option. This will allow you to complete the classroom portion online at your own pace before attending the mandatory in-person range qualification. (ETA TBD)
